> Piero Luxardo : Chairman of the board, active in the Company from 1976. Mainly involved in developing the domestic and some foreign markets, presently responsible for general affairs, finance-treasury and strategic developments.

Can you present your company and its activities?

> P.L : Luxardo is mid-sized family company, active in the field of spirits, export oriented (92 export markets). The production includes liqueurs, aromatic concentrates for pastry, candied cherries and fruit preserves.

Which have been the outstanding events for your company in the recent years?

> P.L : 2004: new production line for candied cherries, fruit preserves and jams.
2015: new warehouses and renovation of bottling plants.
2018: additional aging cellar for distillates.
2021: 4 new copper still pots in the distillery.

Could you give us some indications about your major projects in a medium or long term?

> P.L : Launch of new products for the mixology market.

How can you explain the longevity of your company?

> P.L : Cohesion and identity of opinions in the family.

Could you say that this extraordinary longevity is an asset in your customer relations?

> P.L : It is in fact the most important intangible asset of the Company.

Do the traditional values guiding the firm constitute an advantage as regards research and innovation?

> P.L : Tradition means burden of responsibility, but should not hold back progress.

Which are the most important traps that your company must avoid in order not to lose its independence?

> P.L : To maintain ethical views and financial independence.

Is the transmission of the firm to a family member governed by clearly established rules?

> P.L : Yes, it is.

Is the new generation already working in the firm?

> P.L : Yes, two young family members.
