Today the products manufactured range from refracting steel screws for airplane engines, titanium rivets to vanadium fish hooks, cosmetic

packaging and specific welding products.

The VIELLARD-MIGEON Company is a holding whose shares are held by family members.

LISI : Link Solutions for Industry

G.F.I. Industries: FORMER Automotive Fasteners, BLANC AERO and HI-SHEAR for Aeronautic and Aerospace fasteners, GFD Industrial Supplies and construction, ARS INDUSTRIES for Railway tracks and steel structure and last but not least ARTEM for perfume and cosmetic packaging.
In 2002, in order to better reflect its business areas, GFI Industries becomes LISI, which stands for Link Solutions for Industry. The three divisions each adopt this name and add their respective main business areas: LISI AEROSPACE, LISI AUTOMOTIVE and LISI COSMETICS.
LISI, which is listed on the Paris Stock Exchange, owns 30 factories including one in Germany, one in the USA, one in UK and one in Italy, and employs 5200 people.

Selectarc

Les Forges St-Hippolyte (F.S.H.), oldest registered joint-stock Company ( Société Anonyme ) in France is established in Grandvillars nextdoor to FORMER , one of the Automotive fastener plant. Over the years it diversified its production, gradually going from fasteners to coated electrodes for welding.
Today's production is uniquely electrodes: over 3,000 tons a year, a wide range of products including Basics, Rutiles, Stainless Steel, Hardfacing, Nickel base, Cast iron, Non ferrous and Cobalt base "Stellite".
45% of the production is exported. Expansion is underway on the South Amercian markets.

VMC PECHE

VMC has joint, since september 2000, the company RAPALA to built the RAPALA-VMC group, ranking first in the world for lures and for treble hooks. 90% of the daily production (4 millions hooks) are exported.
Christophe VIELLARD, head of VMC PECHE and the latest of a long line of manager, transformed the small family enterprise into a worldwide distribution network with subsidiaries in the U.S.A., Poland, Ukraine and Russia.

1679

The first ironmaster of the VIELLARD family, Nicolas, goes back to 1679.



1789

After the French Revolution the business prospered with a strategy of strong family alliances to consolidate the ironworks and forests in the area around Belfort.



1806

At first a supplier of drawn metal to the well known JAPY factories, VMC soon launched its own production of chains, bolts, wood screws and other goods using iron.



1900

At the turn of the twentieth century, a new fish hook factory, "VMC Pêche", was opened in Morvillars.



1969

In 1969 VIELLARD-MIGEON merged its fastener division with other factories to create "GFI", a subsidiary of VMC, quoted on the Paris Stock Exchange and totalling 20 plants.



1996

In 1996 VMC celebrated its 200th anniversary and became a member of the Hénokiens.



2000

Since September 2000, VMC PECHE has been merging its activities with RAPALA, to set up the RAPALA-VMC Group.

This ranked the Group first in the world for lures and treble hook manufacturing.



2002

Creation of the LISI Group - a unique industrial group with a common technology : "the link".

The LISI Group is now totally focused on 3 business sectors: the Aerospace, Automotive and Cosmetics sectors.

Each division, LISI AEROSPACE, LISI AUTOMOTIVE and LISI COSMETICS is an autonomous, specialised division while sharing a common sales approach and manufacturing technologies with each other.
