2011 General Meeting in Paris
This year, on the initiative of the member firm Banque Jean-Philippe Hottinguer & Cie., the Henokiens' Annual General Meeting was held from the 22nd to the 24th of September in Paris.
Several noteworthy events marked this meeting which coincided with the 30th anniversary of the Association:
  • The arrival of the family firm «Etablissements Peugeot Frères», which celebrated its bicentennial in 2010 and is the bridgehead of a major industrial group employing nearly 200,000 persons and with a turnover reaching 56 billion euros.

  • The creation, in collaboration with the Château Clos Lucé, last residence of Leonardo da Vinci, of the first «Leonardo da Vinci Prize». The purpose of the prize: distinguish a family firm of a minimum of two generations, for its capacity to transmit a set of cultural values, traditions, know-how and special techniques which constitute the intangible living heritage, indispensable guarantor of its sustainability.

  • The awarding, in the presence of Mrs. Claude Greff, French Secretary of State for the Family, of the "Leonardo da Vinci Prize" to the firm Salvatore Ferragamo, represented by Mrs. Wanda Ferragamo, accompanied by several members of her family.
The General Meeting was an opportunity for Henokiens' President, Christophe Viellard, to focus again on the different themes on which the Association is working:
  • Collaborating with the universities and business schools with which the Henokiens have close ties and which are concretized each year by work and brainstorming sessions between association members and students.
